Since 2011, I have been using Linux daily. and I have built and configured many production servers. I primarily have experience with Ubuntu, Debian, Amazon Linux, and FreeBSD.  

In 2013/2014 one of my roles was on a team of developers for USB information security product. I was tasked with solely building the security rules (system hardening), and some UEFI features that were only theoretical at the time.

This was a personal evangelism project I hoped to turn into a non-profit organization. Shortly after moved away from Vancouver BC, I decided to  keep it as a website and YouTube channel only.

Dyrand is a fully managed IT services provider. 
I was chosen to be the team member to take over for the Support Manager doing onsite work in Vancouver BC. I also worked on the support team as a Network and Systems Administrator for Windows and Linux, while maintaining an above average resolve rate. A letter of recommendation is available from Dyrand.

Inetco is a financial transaction monitoring software company
serving banking industries across the globe.Inetco is a financial transaction monitoring software company serving financial organizations across the globe. While I was with Inetco, I provided support and consultation for networks to executive planners and IT teams. A letter of recommendation is available from Inetco.

Binary IO Solutions (BIOS) is a fully managed IT services provider and development company.
I was the onsite IT representative for BIOS clients in Vancouver. I also functioned as a vSphere administrator, network administrator, Linux developer, WordPress developer, and research & development. A letter of recommendation is available from BIOS.

Information Technology and Applied Systems

I graduated with a diploma in Information Technology and Applied Systems (ITAS) with a 3.67 GPA. 

Areas of study were diverse. Essentially ITAS trains you to be a Network and System Administrator, Mobile Developer, and Web Designer Developer (~10% Designer, 90% Developer). This is all done practically rather than just academically, and due to the rigorous coursework, only about 20% of ITAS students manage to graduate year 2.
